In a rather bizarre incident ,guy found his iPhone heated up to high temperatures may be due to faulty battery.He reported incident on a forum and said
"A few hours ago, I fell asleep on my couch and woke up from extreme pain coming from my pocket… I pulled out my iPhone 3G which was extremely hot… i then placed it on the floor, for whatever reason, my phone burned my leg, and after looking back at my phone, you could definitely see melted plastic… Has this happened to anyone else? What do you think apple will say?"
